Student Fare Cards
K-12 Students
Middle and high school students can pay with cash (on the bus only), and still
receive their 50 percent discount using their student ID card. Elementary students
can also pay with cash (on the bus only) without having to show an ID. NOTE: Riders paying with cash will not receive a free transfer.
Students must be able to provide the following and mail-in the Student METRO Q® Fare Card registration form, or visit the METRO RideStore.
- Name required on METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass
- Current school ID, class schedule, enrollment form, report card (on school letterhead) or student METRO fare card registration form signed by the parent or guardian
- Must be registered

Applying in Person
- Provide one of the following:
- Current school ID
- class schedule
- enrollment form or report card (on school letterhead)
- Contact information (mailing address, phone number, or email address)

College & University Students
Students can order three ways: online, by mail with this Student METRO Q® Fare Card registration form, or visit the METRO RideStore.
To qualify you must show the following:
- Government-issued photo ID (required)
- Proof of credit hours (choose one)
- Current class schedule
- If uploading current class schedule, you must also show a tuition receipt (required)
- Letter from the college verifying you are a current student
- Student METRO Q® Fare Card registration form signed and stamped by school registrar
- If doing an internship, students need to provide a letter with start and end date on an official company letterhead
