To prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), METRO has temporarily suspended collection of fares on local bus, light rail, Park & Ride, METROLift, and Community Connector services.

Any funds loaded onto your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass,
through the METRO website, may not be available for 24 to 48 hours. The
funds added will not appear as part of your balance until after you
tap your card.
METRO fare cards are available directly through the RideStore and at local METRO
METRO offers two options to add money to your fare card:
- One-time payment
- METRO subscription service
With a subscription account, you set the amount you want added automatically to the card when the balance drops to a set limit.
To obtain a subscription account, you must register your card by calling METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000.
To use this site, you must obtain a METRO-supplied password. To receive your password, call METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000.
Managing Your Card
