Astros Afternoon Game Service Adjustment 3 - 6 p.m.

Astros home games significantly increase traffic in the downtown area. To help alleviate the congestion along Congress Avenue during weekday day games, METRO will offer FREE “GO ASTROS” shuttles.

The shuttle will run down Congress between La Branch and Travis to pick up Park & Ride customers. The shuttle will drop customers off at stops where normal service will resume.

The shuttle bus will run every 10 - 15 minutes, dropping customers off at the following stops where normal service will resume:

What train do I ride?

Take the METRORail Red Line to Central Station Main. Walk two blocks east to Central Station Rusk and board the METRORail Green or Purple Line and exit at Convention District Station.

Riders looking to stretch their legs can take a short six-block walk from Preston station (Red Line), direct to Minute Maid Park.

METRORail Red, Green and Purple Line riders exit at Convention District Station, and walk two blocks north to Minute Maid Park - 501 Crawford Street.

METRORail costs just $1.25 for a one way ticket or $2.50 round trip.

Plenty of parking is available along the METRORail Red, Green and Purple Lines.
