New Scheduling Program
Beginning Friday, November 30, 2007 and
continuing throughout May 2008, METROLift will pilot a new
scheduling
program.
This pilot program will allow METRO to reallocate staff within
METROLift Dispatch to improve our responsiveness to
customers.
Reservations
department will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservation trips for
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
will be scheduled on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
MACS (METROLift's Automated Calling System) will continue to be open 7 days a
week from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. to schedule rides for the next day.
If you are using
MACS and an address in not on your list of frequently used addresses or you are
having difficulty using MACS on the weekend, call dispatch and ask for the
Scheduling Supervisor on duty.
Don't forget, with MACS. you can also verify and
cancel your trips. Using M.A.C.S. for routine calls helps us focus on sameday
service issues.
