|Interactive Service Map
Is an interactive application for computers and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows phones and tablets). The application takes the information contained in METRO’s current paper/PDF service map and presents it in a simplified, interactive and easy to navigate format.

For the public-transit newbie, preparing for your first ride can be a bit daunting: What bus do I take, what train, what time, where does it pick me up and where will it drop me off? Don't fret - introducing METRO 360: Take a seat.
This tool gives you the unique opportunity to step inside a transit vehicle from the comfort of your home or work so that you can first familiarize yourself with our transit system and its key features – elements that will help you learn how to ride METRO.

Don’t have your phone or just want to quickly see when your bus is arriving? METRO Kiosks display the scheduled and real time arrival times of the buses and trains closest to your location. METRO Kiosks give you the power to plan your trip and email or text your itinerary to yourself, or anyone you want. Kiosks are currently located at select locations: the Downtown Transit Center and the City of Houston Visitors Center. Kiosks will be coming soon to the Harris County Jury Assembly Building, the METRO Discovery Bus, and the TMC Transit Center.
|311 - Coming Soon
The 311 app focuses on giving patrons a method to report service requests to METRO right from their phones. The application will also enable patrons to submit non-emergency requests or reports to METRO Police. A typical service request can be anything from reporting a late bus, problems with the sidewalk at a Park and Ride, or a phone that is out at a rail platform. The mobile application is quick and easy to use as the submission requires just a few clicks and minimal typing.

Sign up for a free service that sends you email, **SMS or text messages whenever selected website information is updated. You’ll be able to choose from categories such as: (*bus and rail rider alerts, construction and event detours, HOV/HOT lane detours and alerts,) news releases, METRO newsletters and jobs at METRO. (**Message and data rates may apply).
The Developer Portal will enable software developers to gain access to METRO’s real-time data so that they can develop their own application. The service will be provided free of charge, but developers will be required to subscribe to the service and abide by its rules. Developers will have access to the following: GTFS data, SIRI SM (Stop Monitoring), SIRI VM (Vehicle Monitoring, SIRI ET/PT (Estimate Table/Production Table).
