Park & Rides
Direct nonstop service to downtown, the Texas Medical Center and other major employment centers in the METRO service area is available from our Park & Ride lots. Park & Ride facilities also serve as a staging area for vanpools and carpools.
METRO patrons who take the bus daily may park in the Park & Ride lot. However, if you park in a Park & Ride lot for three consecutive days for other purposes, you must contact the METRO Police Department to make this request. Otherwise, your car is subject to being towed. Call #673 (#MPD) by mobile phone or email MPDServices@ridemetro.org.
Park & Ride Gate Closure
METRO closes gates to the following lots from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Seton Lake
Individuals who try to manually open the gates will be held responsible for any damages.
- Need the gate opened between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.? Call dispatch at 713-881-2525.
- If you arrive by bus and need the gate opened, use the “Emergency Aid Station” phone. It’s a free call.
- Call us on your mobile phone before you reach the Park & Ride, and we’ll have the gate opened for you. Call 713-881-2525. If you use AT&T, Sprint or Verizon, dial #MPD. It’s a free call.
