METRO Opens Ridestore Saturday For Back-to-school Event

Mark your calendars – METRO will be opening its downtown RideStore this Saturday, Sept. 18, to accommodate students (K-12 or college) who need to renew or replace their student METRO Q® Fare Card.

WHEN:   9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept.18, 2010

WHERE: METRO Headquarters (downstairs lobby)
                 1900 Main (at St. Joseph Parkway)
                 Houston, TX 77002

Before heading out, please be sure to bring the following information:
For students K-12:

• Current school ID, class schedule, enrollment form or report card (on school letterhead) 

For college students:

• A fee receipt with credit hours or a letter from the college verifying current full-time status
  • Undergraduate – 12+ hours        
  • Graduate – 9+ hours
• Government-issued photo ID – required
