METRO is joining forces with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and other area leadership in a press conference to announce the launch of WorkReady Houston, a comprehensive program to provide job training and placement assistance to local workers who are interested in acquiring new construction-related skills or expanding on their existing skills. Participants in the workforce training program will be drawn from a large pool of HoustonWorks USA clients as well as the community as a whole.
