MEDIA ALERT 3: METRO CONTINUES METRORAIL REPAIRS

October 10, 2008 

METRO is continuing to make repairs to METRORail overhead power lines knocked down by a trash hauler earlier today.

For the remainder of Friday’s service, METRO will operate rail service between the University of Houston and Downtown Transit Center and between the Hermann Park/Rice University Station and Fannin South Station.

A bus bridge remains in effect between Hermann Park/Rice University and the Downtown Transit Center. 

METRO anticipates operating normal service for Saturday morning.
