METRO SOLUTIONS NORTH CORRIDOR OFFICE TO HOST OPEN HOUSE

The METRO Solutions North Corridor Office staff will host a Community Open House to celebrate its opening at 2613 Fulton, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2008.

Everyone is invited to attend to:

• Learn more about the project
• Meet the corridor office staff
• Enjoy complimentary refreshments and local entertainment for all ages

Offices in each corridor of the light-rail expansion plan are part of METRO’s commitment to communicate with the community. They are designed as a one-stop-shop for:

• Learning about construction schedule
• Getting maps
• Keeping updated about utility interruptions/resumptions
• Getting details about paving
• Learning about detours / alternate routes
• Participating in the Small/Disadvantaged business program
• Voicing you concerns
• Getting answers

Two other Corridor Offices were inaugurated with Open House events on Saturday, December 1, 2007. METRO plans to open another one in the Uptown Corridor (Galleria area) soon and one more in the University Corridor as soon as that project approaches the final design phase.
