METRORAIL SERVICE INTERUPTION FOR CHEVRON HOUSTON MARATHON

During this Sunday's Chevron Houston Marathon, METRORail service will be stopped between the northbound platform of the Main Street Square station and the southbound platform of the Preston station to allow runners and spectators to cross at Main and Rusk.
Service will be interrupted from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, trains will operate every 18 minutes. Normal 12 minute service will resume at 1 p.m.
METRO staff will be on site to direct passengers to northbound service at Main and Prairie and southbound service at Main and Walker. Directions will also be announced on the train's PA system.
