Houston TranStar Parks METRO Icons on Maps

Online users with a penchant for keeping up with the city’s daily traffic conditions can now see where METRO’s Park & Rides and Transit Centers are located on the Houston TranStar Web site.

All 28 of METRO’s Park & Ride locations and its 19 Transit Centers have been integrated into the live traffic condition maps, providing smart alternatives to driving in gridlock.

Just log onto http://traffic.houstontranstar.org or http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/layers_ve.html and click on Map Controls located on the top right side of the page. 

By clicking on the Park & Ride or Transit Center of choice, users will be linked directly to METRO’s Web site and can pull up the appropriate bus schedules and route maps.
