METRO CONNECTS WITH HISPANIC COMMUNITY…EN ESPAÑOL

Enfoque METRO¡Bienvenidos a Enfoque METRO!
 
That means welcome to Enfoque METRO – the new talk show METRO launched to reach out to its Spanish-speaking riders.

The Spanish-language program made its debut Oct. 15 on Comcast’s Channel 17, Houston Media Source. Enfoque METRO, which translates into “Focus on METRO,” aims to keep riders in tune with METRO projects, services and other agency developments and initiatives.

The first episode features Danicel Whitaker, deputy director of revenue at METRO. Whitaker talks about the transition to the METRO Q® Fare Card, where to get the smart card, its benefits and more.

The show - about 15 minutes - will air on Houston Media Source’s www.hmstv.org cable access channels. If you subscribe to Comcast, it will air on Channel 17, where it will run up to 12 times in a 30-day period.
