Has your METRO Q® Fare Card expired or will it expire soon? If your expired card has a balance, you can still ride METRO until the balance has been used up.
Once the balance is depleted, obtain a new card from METRO or your local retailer. Note - an expired METRO Q® Fare Card cannot be reloaded.
There is no charge for the card.

There are two ways to add money to your card – a one-time payment and METRO’s subscription service.
With a subscription account, you set the amount you want added automatically to the card when the amount drops to a set limit.
To get a subscription account, you must register your card by calling METRO’s Customer Service Line at 713-635-4000.
To use this site, a METRO Q® Fare Card holder will need a METRO-supplied password. To get a password, call 713-635-4000.
Your user account is your email.
PLEASE NOTE: Any funds loaded onto your METRO Q® Fare Card, through METRO's website, may not be available for 24-48 hours. The funds added will not appear as part of your balance until after you tap your card.
