Please allow up to three business days for the value you add via our website to appear on your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass. The new balance will appear on your METRO Fare Card only after you tap your card to pay your fare and the amount loaded will appear on your online account the next business day after you tap.
Has your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass expired or set to expire shortly? If your expired card has a balance, you can still ride METRO until the balance has been used up.
Once the balance is depleted, you can obtain a new card from METRO or your local retailer. Note - an expired METRO fare card cannot be reloaded.
There is no charge for the card.
