Has your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass expired or set to expire shortly? If your expired card has a balance, you can still ride METRO until the balance has been used up.

Once the balance is depleted, you can obtain a new card from METRO or your local retailer. Note - an expired METRO fare card cannot be reloaded.

There is no charge for the card.

This is where you load your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass and check its current balance.

There are two ways to add money to your card – a one-time payment and METRO’s subscription service.

With a subscription account, you set the amount you want added automatically to the card when the amount drops to a set limit.

To get a subscription account, you must register your card by calling METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000.

To use this site, a METRO fare card holder will need to obtain a METRO-supplied password. To receive your password, call METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000.

Your user account is your email.

PLEASE NOTE:
Any funds loaded onto your METRO Q® Fare Card or METRO Day Pass, through the METRO website, may not be available for 24 to 48 hours. The funds added will not appear as part of your balance until after you tap your card.
